Any one know of sources for 16 bit PCMCIA Type II 802.11a 5 GHz wireless cards ?

NOT Cardbus or 32bit PCMCIA, but 16bit PCMCIA Type II cards.

Can be single 802.11a single band, what would be even better would be a DUAL
802.11a/b or even a/b/g card but it has to be 16 BIT PCMCIA not Cardbus/32 bit.

Older laptop need to get wireless access for it.

Especially ones known compatible with NetGear HE102a AP's.

Thank you in advance.

Their numbers are legion on eBay. Check for the Orinoco 802.11b cards,
they're all PCMCIA, not cardbus, and there are no better WiFi cards made.
I'm pretty sure all of the combo 802.11a/b and 802.11a/b/g cards ARE cardbus
though.

Regards,

James

Sorry, I read your original post backwards and thought you were looking for
an 802.11b card.

Regards,

James
