Could someone explain me the difference between 802.11 a, b and g?
Are there any compatibility issues?
Any new standards coming up?
What about the market prospectus of each one of them?

Thanks

Waldman

I think this PDF is quite interesting:
http://www.54g.org/docs/802.11g-WP104-RDS1.pdf
It shows the higher speed of 802.11g, compared to 802.11g, is only
available at relative short range.
The range is up to 11Mbs about the same as 802.11b but at higher speed
much smaller.
