When I try to connect to ISP via dial-up through a modem.
I get disconnected immediately, says "error 745 -
essential files are missing. Reinstall Dial-up
Networking". Have done this but still same message. Any
ideas?

Thanks in advance.

This error can also occur if your password file is corrupt, so you may also
want to delete any .PWL files in your Windows directory.
