700 Locks up and will not pass traffic.

The 700 router I have locks up randomly if wireless
networking is enabled. Also, I cannot connect to any
other g products in g-mode. If I do mixed I can connect.
Also, I cannot enable any security for the device and
establish a connection in any mode. I have the latest
updates from Microsoft. I am using a 720-note book
adapter to connect. What is the problem? Thanks in
advance for your help.
