64-bit W2K3 Server - network connectivity loss

Hi,

We seem to be having an issue with our x64 servers whereby they
intermittently 'drop' off the network. The machine can be accessed from the
console locally, but network connectivity inbound and outbound is
non-functional. The hardware is all HP ProLiant G4/G5 kit. There are no
particular errors in the event log relating to the drops. How can I begin to
diagnose these issues? As mentioned, its only the x64 OS affected.

A few posts down, I posted about my Win2K3 server failing to
route traffic from the local network onto the internet (as this is what's
is doing).

Would this be the same issue you're experiencing?
