Plusnet.

£18.99 for 512k down/256k up. No binary newsgroups. No P2P.

<mode=begging>Sign up & use "lethe" as your referrer and & get a discount
:-)

Try ADSLguide.org for a fuller list, but you can get PlusNet's "Home Surf"
account for 18.99 a month (no peer-to-perr or binary newsgroups, though).
Some of the other offerings below 20 quid a month are unlikely to be ones
(having seen complaints) to be recommended, however. Peter M.

FWIW a quick search suggests these may be close in price:
Price (before VAT)
16.99 DataComms Europe 020 http://www.dcomms.co.uk/
17.44 Prodigy 0870 http://prodigynet.co.uk/
18.99 Netkonect 0808 http://www.nkdsl.co.uk/

NB Although there's a fee of 16.00 for Datanet UK it seems that's only
for 3 months. I feel they should show their 25.00 figure on ADSLguide.

Actually, you won't get anything for a Home Surf account signup.

www.metronet.co.uk offer a pay as you go service staring at £10 + VAT, this
gives x amount of Mb download / upload and then once exceeded you are
charged for excess mileage as it were up to a maximum of £23.99 + VAT at
this point you can still dowwnload / upload etc but their are no further
charges) Great idea if your usage is low as you effectively pay for what you
use.

Andy

Arse.

OK. Don't do the home surf. Do the standard "Home". It's not that much extra
;-)

Go on, you know it makes sense!

Pete.

You should offer him/her a share of the referral reward; perhaps then he/she'd
be more inclined.

The "Reward" is 50p/month off my bill :-)

I'm just hoping that I can get 44 people to sign up, so it'll be free ;-)
