Cannot get my basestation configured. I go though the
setup and all is great. When I connect my basestation to
my cpu for configuration, keeps telling me to restore the
basestation to factory settings and turn off all
firewalls and internet security. I have repeatedly reset
the factory settings. I have removed any thing that could
be considered as a firewall. How can fix this proplem?

You need to *uninstall* firewalls such as Norton or
ZoneAlarm. Just disabling them is not enough. Also make
sure Windows firewall ICF is turned off.

If the problem still appears, use IE and go to
http://192.168.2.1 and configure the router manually. You
need to configure the type of connection on the WAN page.
All other settings should be fine initially. Then for
wired computers, configure the properties on network
connections on your computer to obtain an IP and DNS
dynamically from the server. Use the CD fro wireless
computers.

Once everything is working, enter a WEP key on the router
and any wireless card.
