I have a Netgear DG834G wireless router.

I can get good to excellent strength wireless connections to it from 3
of the 4 PC's in different parts of our house.

Will a Netgear 5 dBi Omni-directional Antenna and 1.5m Reverse SMA
Antenna Cable give a worthwhile improvement?

Is that all I would need?

Any advice or experiences appreciated.

A 5 dbi omni antenna should give a 3.16 times
gain over an isotropic if it is well-constructed
and installed p;roperly. That will be before
subtracting the loss in the coax which increases
with the length of the coax Luck
