3rd Linksys BEFW11 dead out of the box

I have just received my 3rd BEFW11 the first 2 were V4 the last is a V3.
This ones WAN link is dead out of the box. I call their tech support and
got a lady in India and she talked me thru several tests and sure enough the
WAN port is dead. Cisco the parent company sure purchased a loser company in
Linksys, maybe deadbeat is a better word. Now they want me to ship back at
my cost and they will ship me #4. I think not, it is time to get my money
back and purchase a different brand. T

That's why I by in person by going to a retail outlet, if that's possible
for you. The manufacture of these routers make them like pop corn and one
can run into a bad batch as you have done. It's not likely that you'll run
into another bad batch by another manufacture. But nothing is impossible.
