3g vpn

Hi

Has anyone used any of the 3g cards to setup vpn to the company network?
Which service provider is better?

Try uk.telecom.mobile rather than uk.telecom

Can't comment on as to which provider is better but the Orange 3G Datacard
works fine with VPN traffic (only tested PPTP not IPSEC though).

Ive tested both vodafone and orange 3g datacards .... using the cisco
vpn client software worked fine for both

Coverage still isnt great for either of them (We have a lot of
nationally distributed sites) but the fall back to gprs when 3g not
available works fine.

Out of interest is the card in the Voda offering as slow to initialise as
the Orange one when out of 3G coverage?

Couldnt say, I had 3g coverage when testing myself ... the users are all
using the vodafone cards ... apart from the odd 'it doesnt work at all
from here' comment they've generally problem free.

The only laptop I couldnt get the card working on was a Compaq n800v
although various other compaq models had no problems at all so it could
be that specific laptop at fault, ill find out next week as ive another
user with that model that needs a card putting in.
