I recently bought the 3ComR OfficeConnectR Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway
(3CRWE52186 - 11Mbps) and everything seems OK except the connection speed is
slow.
When I connect directly to the ADSL modem, I got ~400KBytes/s.
When I use the captioned router, my desktop (directly connected to the
router with wired) just got ~100KBytes/s. But My notebook PC(wireless) can
get ~300KBytes.
The question is why the wired PC will slower than the wireless PC and also
why the speed for my desktop is so slow?
Did anyone have similar experience or know what is going on?
