We change our 3COM SuperStack 2 1100 10mbps switchs to 3COM 3300
100mbps switchs.
We have now problem connecting to two printers (Lexmark Optra S) on
one of the switch.
LEDs are flashing, but pings failed.

Interesting note : I put one of the printers on a separate DualSpeed
Hub. If I unplug and replug the power on the hub, I can ping the
printer of a short time.

Printer IP are on the same subnet, unique and Printers should not have
trouble with 100mbps.

Any ideas ?

Probably the wires to the printers were tapped incorrectly breaking up the
twisted pairs. It could have worked at 10mbps but it won't work at 100mb.

If you haven't yet, replace the wires to one of the printers with known-good
wires and see what happens....
