Hi all,

does anybody knows whether it is possible to have 3CRWE454A72 3com
access point
to work in client mode ?

I need to connect that to a DI-774 wireless a/b/g router.

thanks,
Sandrof.

Have you checked the 3com website to see if it supports client mode?

Yes, but did not find any clear statement on this,

now the question is:
does it means the device does not support client mode ?

Alessandro.

As I don't know the Dl-774 there is no guarantee that the 3com product
will work with it.

Thanks.
I tried that but the DI-774 does not support WDS.
That is why I think the only way to go is to have the 3com
act as a client ( just as a wavelan ) of the DI-774.

Alessandro.

Your system will not work ,the 3com in WDS (Bridge mode) is acting as a
client device.
