Does anone have, or know where to download some updated Windows 2000/XP
drivers for a 3Com 3C980C server NIC? The latest non-Microsoft ones I
can find are the ones on the CD, which are dated Septemer 2000.

It's not critical, but there's no point in having nice hardware when
you're going to use shit drivers with it. Not that the 3Com drivers are
shit, but I'm sure there are better drivers out there than the ones I'm
using. I would not touch Microsoft's drivers.

TIA,

Anton

Latest on 3com site are dated 28 Nov 2000 which are probably
what you have on the 3com installation CD. As they've not been
updated for so long, I suspect they're as bug free as they're ever
going to be.

That doesn't work any more - they've gone commercial.

I would agree with you, but in my Local Area Connection status in XP it
reckons I've only downloaded 4,200,000 bytes, when I've almost finished
downloading a 216 megabyte game demo. I can live with it.
