Hi. I have a Win 2k3 and my clients cant connect by
terminal server. The service is running but i cant see
anything running on port 3389 with netstat. It was running
for the default grace period but a friend has added AD and
the licenses for the server and TS licenses. He also said
something that telnet must work first to test it but it
doesn't. It is as if the terminal service isn't running. In
services it is listed as running. I'm lost. Has anybody
heard of this problem?

Hi,

Are you getting any specific errors when you fail to connect? Are the
licenses on the same server as the term server?

If you are running TS in application mode and your grace period has
expired, you may be having issues with the new licenses being used.
Here is an article describing licensing that may help if this is your
problem:

Requirements
