3 PAYG Mobile Broadband Credit Expiry

I have just got my 3 USB PAYG Mobile Broadband Dongle, topped it up with £10
and surfing away! I will only use it every few months or so whilst away from
home. I know the credit expires after 30 days but what if I don't top up
again for several months? Does the SIM ever expire? I have also found that
if I put the SIM in a phone I can surf the internet and receive voice calls
and SMS - is it Ok to do this?

Yes, that why i do it the other way around, and use my phone via it's USB
lead as a BB dongle.

Which is what i'm using now
