2xXP and 1x98SE networked - can't play Hearts

Network is running fine (ethernet cables through a router) -
we can all share printers, share the cable modem, share
files, see each other in Network Places, etc. But we can't
play Hearts. The 98SE laptop Hearts game has a network play
option, but the two XP desktop boxes' Hearts games don't
have any network option. What should I do?

I'm sorry, but Microsoft removed the network option from Hearts in
Windows XP. There's no way to do it.

I don't know. Try it and see, then let us know.

I tried it and the networking options were greyed out on the
XP (Home) machines running the older version.

We found a commercial Hearts program that works well using
TCP/IP among the three machines, but it would have been nice
to use the free one....

Thanks
