2wire wireless connection

Had to re-install 98SE. Upon re-installing software for
2Wire, Windows will not install drivers. 2Wire tech said
it is an issue of 98SE and USB ports. The program installs
but will not recognize the drivers. Any workaround
suggestions? thanks Jim

I'm not familiar with 2Wire NICS. Check their product sheet to see if
they're compatible with 98SE. Then you'll need the 98SE drivers for them,
presumably available from their web site.

Assuming that all the above is in place, go to the device manager and delete
any references to 2Wire or PCI Ethernet Controller. Then do Add New
Hardware and feed the system the driver disks when prompted.

Pretty much everything USB I have installed in Win98SE say to install the
drivers FIRST, then plug in the unit.
