The 2Wire 1100 has USB, 1 Ethnet, and PNA ports. You can get a wireless
access point to connect to the Ethernet port. At least 2Wire claims
that any combinations of the three port types can be connected
simultaneously.
Dell has the Truemobile 1170 access point, but it is outrageously
expensive. Linksys, Netgear, DLink, etc. all have access points at a
fraction of the cost. You will need to match the transmission protocol
of the laptop card: 802.11b, 802.11g, or a combo -b/-g.
You might consult the DSL section of
www.dslreports.com for additional
information about the 2Wire router/modem.
