Hey Aus,
If I understand correctly the server you wish to move is not a DC, just a
file server. If that's the case then you should be fine. The only time the
remote users will communicate to the AD server is when they need to
authenticate against something. Your 2MB line should be okay for that. If I
am mis-understanding your setup I apologize.
