My last message disappeared from the newsgroups, so here's an updated
one...
I have 2 NIC's in 1 machine..
NIC 1: (ipconfig /all information)
Host Name: webmain
Primary Dns Suffix: mydomain.com
Node Type: Broadcast
IP Routing Enabled: Yes
WINS Proxy Enabled: Yes
DNS Suffix Search List: mydomain.com
Physical Address: MAC Address
DHCP Enabled: No
IP Address: 206.126.135.143 through 206.126.135.135
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default G/W: 206.126.135.1
DNS Servers: 205.182.224.5 & 205.182.224.10
This NIC is plugged Directly into the back of Port 1 of my 4 Port DSL
Modem, and does nothing but serve our 3 Websites to the outside world.
NIC 2: (ipconfig /all information - summarized)
IP Address: 192.168.0.75 through 192.168.0.79
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
G/W: 192.168.0.1
DNS Servers: 205.182.224.5 & 205.182.224.10
This NIC is plugged into the back of my 8 Port BEFSR81 router, so that
it can server intranet information to the inside world. The router is
then plugged into Port 2 on my 4 Port DSL Modem.
The problem I have is that when the 2nd NIC card is installed and
enabled, all my internal machines can see intranet information, and
can see the websites via NIC1's IP Address. HOWEVER, if someone from a
remote location tries to goto
www.mydomain.com, the IP address does
not respond. If I pull the 2nd NIC out, then
www.mydomain.com responds
to internal and external requests. However, then I have no intranet
information.
Any help would be appreciated!
