21CN in Glasgow

I see that one of the first areas for the 21st Century Network (21CN)
is to be in Glasgow 'round the area of the University'.

I assume this means Glasgow University. Does anyone know what area
will be covered? Will it be the whole area of the former 'Western'
exchange?

Thanks
Scott

I hope you mean:

I see that one of the first areas for the 21st Century Network (21CN) in
Glasgow is to be 'round the area of the University'.

as 21CN is available in many other places right now...

Okay, I think I was getting confused between 21CN and fibre optic.
There have been reports that the area I mentioned would be first in
line for fibre optic cables in the street.

What I am trying to find out is whether this refers to a limited area
or to the whole of the 'Western' exchange area.

Not really.

The sentence reads: "A list of the exchanges which will be the first
with this deployed is detailed below."

This does not say whether the deployment is to the entire area covered
by the exchange, which is what I was asking. As the fibre optic
cables are to run 'from the local telephone exchange to the
streetside cabinet' it seems to me perfectly possible that some
streets could receive this upgrade and others not.
