Hello, I have run into a weird issue that keeps me sleepless.
This is the setup:
W2003 - PDC,DHCP,DNS,WINS
W2003 Ent Ed. Terminal Server, file sharing
Clients : W98.W2000, WXPP

All works and is great for the non xp client computers, but the clients
running Xp Pro are having difficulties with the shares on the TS. These
machines are on local lan and are not TS clients.

the TS hosts \\terms\data which the XPP clients have mapped. When the
client machines are left alone for some time (inconsistent) they will loose
connection to the TS. Only way to get them back up is to go to network nbgh.
and browse to the terminal server. Before you do that, you are unable to ping
the TS by name or IP.

Note: the TS can ping any machine at that time, with the exception of the
faulting XPP.

Tried the usual settings and tweaks
+ set the xpp to not to keep MB list

any advice would be appreciated
