I've setup a Windows 2003 server and find I can't see other machines on the
LAN.
I believe I went through the process of applying the Updates while in that
start-up protected mode and opened up the machine correctly. However, all I
can see (and ping) is myself and the router and everything on the internet.
I can't see anything else on the LAN.
The addressing on the NIC card looks normal. I assume I need to re-run the
wizard that takes it out of that start-up protected mode but I can't locate
it.
