Hi all,
I just added a server 2003 machind to our W2K domain and
it is serving files as read-only. Is there a known
issue with using a 2003 file server in a 2K domain?

A Windows Server 2003 file server should behave perfectly well in a Windows
2000 domain. Check your share and NTFS permissions, as well as any file
attributes that may have been set if you migrated a large number of files
onto the 2K3 file server. If nothing seems readily apparent, enable Event
Log auditing of the file shares on the 2K3 server to determine what the
actual error is.

By Default Server 2003 has read only access to the drive.
You have to change the security on everyone to full
access.
