I have windows 2003 R2 Active Directory Server. Installed with DNS and WINS.
As per my knowledge all the configurations are installed as per the process.

In the Network of either the server or clients (xp/vista), only client
computers are visible except this server.

Please help me.

On the server, goto the properties of your NIC. Under TCP/IP
Properties/Advanced, click on the WINS tab and ensure that Netbios over
TCP/IP is enabled.

Hi,

Thankyou. I did that and even restarted. Still server is not visible in the
Network Neighborhood.

Note: I am able to access the server without any problems by typing either
it's ip or UNC path. One of the folder from this server is mapped and it
works fine too. Only problem is this server is not visible or showing up in
Network neighborhood.

Please guide me.

If the server has not appeared in NN after a reasonable time (say 30
minutes), you may have a browser problem. You will need to load the browstat
utility from the system tools and use it to debug your browser setup. See
KB 188305 .
