Since this server has two NICs, I would use RRAS instead of windows firewall.
Don't run Windows Firewall on 2003 DC
Don't run Windows Firewall on ISA server
Don't run Windows Firewall on 2003 RRAS

i've looked at documentation, knowledge base and can't find anything to see
if i'm doing something wrong here
environment:
2003 sp1 with 2 network connections-out(connected to internet) in(inside
network)
xp sp2 clients
problem:
firewall service on and is enabled for out connection but NOT for in
connection
xp clients can't connect to server; packet loss on ping
turn off firewall, xp clients can connect to server no problem
i can understand if the firewall was enabled on the in connection, i could
just open whatever ports i need, but it isn't
i've look at article 298804 but it doesn't help any
any ideas??
