We have a Windows 2003 standard server installed on a blade in an IBM
Bladecenter.

Situation is we can't communicate with the network. We can ping the
loopback address and the manual IP address but when I look at the Cisco
Gigabit switch the port is not lit up and the status says Down.

We have another blade which is fine and can communicate with the network.

All ports are configured to Static Access on VLAN1.

Any ideas?
