@ my work set up one AD with 2003 Data Centre. Clients are with XP.
This is school Environment. And I set up their own personal folder on
server. In order to save their data during their course. But they
don't log on to domain but they login as their client computer from XP
computer (don't logon as domain user account).

When they log on to their computer log on as local compter, not
joining domain. They can use their personal folder on server but don't
have permission on others folder. This part I can do it. Setting
folder permission.

But here is the problme whenever students from client PC use their
personal folder on server and they have to log out manually. if they
don't log out, other studentswill be able to use their resource. So I
would like to know how can I do for that. Some thing like can I set or
track idel time of network resources. I really need for this help.

Then stop doing that,...remove all the local accounts on the
workstations,...and force them to use Domain Accounts.
