We have just been asked to look into slow network issues on a Win2k3 LAN &
the server has 2 x NIC's plugged into the same switch. I have never come
across this before, can this work or is this likely to create problems?

I have heard of TEAMed NIC's - anyone any knowledge of this?

Dave

Maybe. We don't know if your switch uses VLANs or how your traffic is
flowing. You can always find out by disabling one NIC.

Your NIC and drivers must support teaming, see the manufacturer of
your NIC for that.
