Hi

I have a 2003 server with 2 network cards. Only one NIC currnetly is in use.
<File server>
( LAN pc's read data from this server -Access dbase, nota SQL srv yet...)

> Can I set up/use the 2nd network card to share LAN communication/bandwidth

to impove my network's speed?

If so... do I simply configure it the same as the 1st NIC but with a diff IP
(Example NIC1= 192.168.10.200 and make NIC2=192.168.10.201)
And...How do I configure the traffic sharing...?

Thanks Humble Jo

You can't just enable the second NIC with an IP on the same subnet. Read the
NIC's helpfiles and documentation on how to "team" the NICs so they act in
tandem as if they were one NIC.
