2 Meg ADSL Connection

I've run the ADSL Guide speed test on three PCs I 'look after' and typically
get a downstream result of about 1.5 to 1.6 Mb/s.

In all three cases Noise Margin is in the 20-25dB region. Two connections are
Pipex, the third is BT OpenWound.

What's typical for a '2 Meg' ADSL connection, I get 470ish with my 512k
service, so I'd have expected 2 Megs to yield 1.85 - 1.90 ?

indeed, my "including overheads" figure is almost always over 2.00 and
the download test is ~6.5 seconds.

I was getting around 1.5 until I changed my RWIN setting using the DRTCP
tool./GUI and I am now getting 1.8+
