Hello,

I have 2 different DSL internet connection, which is routed to the
users through 2 different linux gateway (10.10.10.1 and 10.10.10.2).
By default all the users are connecting to the net through 10.10.10.1
and if this gateway goes down or this ISP is down I should go and
change the gateway in all the system to 10.10.10.2 manually.

Is there any way that I change the gateway of all the system from
central location or Is there any way to route the 2 connection to one
single system and there I can add a proxy server so that if one
gateway goes down it automatically to other gateway

Regards,

Vinod

Update the dhcp config and have the clients receive the new configuration,
or install ONE gateway and control which ISP to use in there.

This seem to be linux HA problem

Use heartbeat on the two linux-box with gateway address as virtual address
if one machine stop the other take relay with it's own default gateway

If I have understood it right you have to Linux gateways and you want
to balance the connections from the windows clients to both gateways.

You can do this with the 'nexthop' feature of iproute2, and the
command 'ip'. Read the LARTC at http://lartc.org
