Dear all

I have 1 sql server with 2 real ip, It is stable I set host file of clients
to one ip to the server hostname . While I add another ip and update the
host file of clients.
Client could not find the server why?? It is normal when set either one ip
only from the server. Why ?? Is any set from the server too?

Thx a lot!

I think one solution should solve if I ping the server name 'office', just
one ip could response in one time.....how could I set either one ip (enable
at the same time) ?
Thanks all !

Hello mike3004,

Why does the server need 2 different ip's? That's not the best solution?

Best regards
