2 easy problems that you guys can help me with!

I was given an old computer that starts up with 2 annoying messages:

1. I get a message box that says :"Important Notice: Versar Computer
Network."

I have to press OK to continue. How do I get rid of that?

2. Then, I get a message box, entitled "Enter Network Password"
I can just hit Cancel to get rid of it, but I would like to eliminate
it.
It seems that once a machine is configured to allow individual users
to log on, even after you remove these users, you can't get rid of
this message box in Windows 98.

But there must be a way to remove it, right?
