I have an SBS2K network bridged to another building with
fiber optic, 6 xp workstations in same building with
SBS2K server, at the other end of the fiber 4 xp
workstations. I want to connect 2 dsl lines, one to the
server and one to the 4 xp workstations in the other
building. I want to do this to cut down on the internet
use taking bandwidth from the sql database application
over the fiber. The 4 xp computers have dual nics,
currently only one is connected to the hub which is
connected to the SBS2K server. I would like to have
internal email and allow POP3 connection to outside email
on all computers. I assume that I can have the 6 xp
workstations connect with the internet through the SBS2K
server, and have the 4 xp workstations connect with the
internet through a separate network using the second nic
in each machine. Please give any feedback and
suggestions on properly connecting the two dsl lines to
the computers allowing for proper security. I have a dsl
router that I planned on using to connect the 4 xp
machines to the internet. Thanks for any help.
