1Mbit ADSL Access in New York

Hi there,

I'm about to rent a flat out in the US (work is sending me there on a temp
placement) and I was wondering if there was an equivalent of
www.adslguide.org.uk for the US?

I need to get a 1Mbit ADSL connection with one or two static routable IP
addresses when I'm out there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
