1MB connection, what can we expect? Test and reply...

On average, what sort of results should we all expect when testing a 1MB
connection in the UK? I know what the maximum is, but in the real world,
what results do you all get? I would appreciate everyone trying out this
speed test and let me know your results and what ISP you are using. Thanks
very much. Barry

ps. I have always used the 'europe' link to do the test.

n the giganews europe test i get 4370kbs evey time i run a test, is this
correct for a 3mb ntl connection,which by the way is flawless and hsant
dropped once.

thats what i thought but wait till all us wonderful 3mb ntl customers get
upgraded to the 10mb
