How many Windows servers might i need to set up a network with 175
workstations? The workload on the servers is what I am mainly concerned
about.

Would I need 2,3,4? I know at least 2. Might i need more?

Go to microsoft.com and find "ADsizer" in the downloads, download it and then
follow the wizard.

Note: its recommended program, but the final word must be from you, it means
that this program cannot carry the responsibility of any failure.

About my opinion for your inquiry, i think that one is for active directory
service and DNS, and another one for Exchange and DHCP, additional will be
for ISA server.

Or combination of ISA and DHCP , DNS and AD, And one for Exchange.
