I ordered email defence a day ago but when I try to configure it through my
123 reg control panel-->modify domain-->manage email defence I just get the
following error:

Sorry, an internal error occurred and we were unable to process your
request. Please return to the Main page and try again shortly. If this error
persists, please contact 123-reg (E-Mail Removed).
Is anyone else having the same problem?

How is this a broadband problem? You need to contact 123-reg about this.

Already contacted them. Just wondered if anyone else was having the same
problem. No need to throw the toys out of the pram.

It was a simple comment which questioned the suitability of this NG for
your query (and given no other responses, was quite reasonable IMO).

You may get some answers posting a non-broadband query in
alt.internet.providers.uk / uk.net.providers
(neither of which you appear to know).

123-reg aren't Internet providers AFAIK - they're domain hosts......

As far as I know, they also offer domain registrations, and if you go
to http://www.123-reg.co.uk/dialup/ you might be surprised at the range
of facilities. In any case, as an internet 'service' one or other NG
may still be a better option than this NG, which was created to focus
on broadband (a reason not to post questions about browsers, etc, etc!)
