Consider the possibility of spyware or adware on your system that is causing
problems connecting. Go to
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/, download a copy of
AdAware, install it, update it, then run it and clean up any messes found.
If any are cleaned, reboot and run it again until the system is clean.
