Yes. Since your two pcs are connected directly to the gigabit switch and
both have gigabit NICs, you should be able to copy between them at the full
gigabit speed.

That sounds better than I would have expected. Your gigabit network provides
a theoretical 1000mbps transfer, but when you copy files around Windows
reports the transfer rate in MBps - note the difference in case. mbps = mega
BITS per second, MBps = mega BYTES per second. Since there are 8 bits to a
byte 125MBps = 125*8 = 1000mbps.
