100 packets/sec outgoing traffic for each socket

Hi everyone,

I'm using a simple TCP/IP & DCCP/IP socket in Suse Linux 8.2 and have been
trying to send as many packets(variable sizes) as possible. Even on a
100Mbps LAN, I can't seem to get more than 100 packets/sec. There seem to be
a hard limit of 100 packet/sec for each socket connection.

Can I configure the kernel setting to rectify this issue?

Cheers,
Ben B
