but my lan transfert is only 800KB/s
i checked they are in 100TX full duplex mode

Is whatever they are connected to also running at 100/full?

Having said that I would expect a duplex mismatch to cause it to go a
lot slower than that.

You need to give more details of how your LAN is set up and what is on
it.

Look up mii-tool. I know RH comes with it; just run the command.

yes it s connected to another pc at 100/full
they are connected by a switch
the swtich leds reports 100Mb
and the mii-tool reports 100Mb full duplex
i tried to change to half duplex but that dont change anything to the
ftp or samba transfer speed

but it change the results of iperf tests
[ 15Mb instead of 11Mb ]
i tried with 2 computer under other OS and i got a better result [ 2000
KB/S ]
