10/100 Mb/s

I'm using an Ethrnet to link two computers with Linux. The local network
works at 100Mb/s. Could I decrease the troughtput? I'd like to work at
10Mb/s to make some tests... is it possible? How can I set it up?

Check mii-tool or ethtool.
