what is 10/ 100/ 1000 type networking

I will need 5 or 5e networking cables for 10/ 100/ 1000
type networking but what is 10/100/1000 type networking
itself). I just need to use internet from other computer
as well and if possible the programs of one computer from
the other.

As opposed to coax or thick (vampire connection) ethernet cabling?

When I say that I mean these (cut/paste from a Netgear page):

10BASE-T
The IEEE specification for 10 Mbps Ethernet over Category 3, 4, or 5

100BASE-TX
The IEEE specification for 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet over Category 5
twisted-pair cable.

The IEEE specification for 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet over Category 5
