actually you said "unlimited" and therefore fell into a semantics
trap.
The cheap accounts with no data volume limits may well have other
restrictions and hence aren't "unlimited" - you may fall foul of an
AUP or some traffic types may be restricted.
I agree with your main point, that it is pointless getting an account
with 1, 2 or 3 GB as the limit when you can have one with fuzzy
restrictions that would allow you to use 10 or 20 GB without issue at
the same price.
